In preparing for a speech at the 2020 Millennial Game Plan Conference in Murfreesboro, Tennessee I interviewed close to 100 employers in the area. Here is a bulleted summary of their feedback:

– Someone who is dependable

– A problem solver

– Someone that can coach co-workers

– A person that takes initiative

– Someone that “fits” into their corporate culture

– A good communicator

– Someone that’s creative/innovative

– A team player

– Someone to develop new ways of doing things

– A decision maker

– Someone that can influence others

– A person with organizational/prioritization skills
